This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on this website and how you can control them, in compliance with article 5 of the ePrivacy Directive, as transposed by Portuguese Law 41/2004, and the GDPR.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They ensure the site works, remember preferences and, when authorised, measure page usage.
Three records, all in your own browser and none of them shared with third parties. They are strictly necessary for the site to work and therefore do not depend on consent, under article 5 of Portuguese Law 41/2004. None of them identifies a visitor and none is used for advertising.
I use Google Analytics to understand which pages people look for and how they arrive. The IP address is anonymised and the data is not used for advertising or to contact anyone.
None of this loads before you allow it. The Google script is not on the page: it is only requested after someone accepts. If you refuse, or withdraw permission later, the cookies already created are deleted and measurement stops.
The About page shows a Google map. That map is loaded by Google and sets its own cookies, so it is only loaded if you allow it. Without permission a notice takes its place, and the address and directions remain available as text.
The links to WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Spotify are ordinary links, not embedded content: nothing is loaded from those services until you click them, and from that point each service's own policy applies.
The free analysis form sends your data to this site's server, which forwards it to Brevo, the platform used to manage enquiries. That transfer follows from the form you filled in and uses no cookies.
The icon in the bottom left corner of any page opens the privacy settings at any time. There you can allow or withdraw each category separately, and withdrawing costs exactly the same as allowing.
Alternatively you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the necessary records does not stop the site working, but the calculators will request the Euribor rate more often.
Personal data processing associated with cookies is described in our Privacy Policy. For additional queries, contact us through info@pedrofernandescredito.pt.
